Organic SEO or PPC: Which is best?
Basically there are two popular ways of doing SEO. One is organic SEO, where you spend a lot of time and endeavor with your traditional SEO plans; the other is PPC, where you just pay someone and get things done in a jiffy.
PPC is all about buying the clicks or visitors from a search engine. What you do here is pay for keywords specifically related to your business niche. Although you have the advantage of getting things done with speed without having to worry about how search engines work, you still have to put in a lot of money. You also have to spend a lot of time on finding out the best keywords, managing the costs, measuring the ROI etc.
On the other hand, we have the Organic SEO which is all about optimizing web pages for better visibility on major search engines like Yahoo and Google. Organic or natural engine has a lot more job to do than in PPC, however it is more effective in the long run. The job involves ensuring easy crawling of search engine spiders and making them understand what your site is all about. And of course we have link popularity, which is a measure of the number of quality inbound links that your site gets from other relevant sites.
So which is best: PPC or Organic SEO? While organic SEO is something that anybody can go for, PPC needs a higher level of awareness on what you are spending and the ROI.
However, both these methods have their own advantages. So it is good to use a judicious mix.
