1 . First , we need a tool called resource hacker which is freeware and can be downloaded from soft32.

3 . Open Resource Hacker. Go to Open in the file menu and type into open type file textbox:
“X:\windows\system32\loginui.exe”, Where X is your Windows XP Drive Letter.
4 . You can now see a tree view of the decompiled loginui.exe file.Expand the bitmap section go for the Name 123 .There you can now view the windows XP logo next right click on 1033 which is in the 123 section.
5 . Right click and select “save bitmap[123:1033]”.Save this bitmap.Open this bitmap in any image editing program you want.Clear the image and create your Website Logo instead.Save the file with .bmp extension .The size of the image must be the same as the orginal.The same procedure goes for 127 in the bitmap tree :[bitmap:127:1033].
6 . Once you have created your logo go to 123>1033 right click on it and go to ” Replace Resource .. ” this will open up a window .Click on”Open file for a new bitmap “. Browse for and select your created bitmap .it wil open a second picture box.Click on the replace button.Do The same for bitmap>127>1033;Right Click on it and go to “Replace Resource” this will open a window.
7 . Click on “open file for a new bitmap”.Browse for and select your created bitmap.it will open a second picture box.Click Replace and save the file in X:\windows\system32\logonui.exe (Replace the orginal file with the modified file).You will get a file protection error :”File is not recognised by windows XP”
8 . Insert your Windows XP Cd and click OK .Cancel the dialog box and press yes .Then Restart your sytem and see the result.That’s All.
if you want to change the “welcome string” go to the main tree view go to string table > 1 > 1033.Replace the string “Welcome” to your website name or anything you want.
Note : Before you replace the orginal.exe with the modified one there is no thing to be done.Otherwise windows will replace your files to the orginal form windows has inbuilt security
for files and prevents them to be corrupted.You need to do something to bypass this protection.
Open Notepad and type in the following : del%systemroot%\system32\dllcache\logonui.exe
Atlast, Save this file as “crack_logo.bat” and run it.
